Alibaba and Tecent, IM battle playing on

I still remember Alibaba launched a promotion of its own IM APP called laiwang in 2013. they offer bonuses in laiwang groups. so many people joned and got the bonus to spend on buying online. but the IM APP cannot keep users in , it soon dimmed after the spring festival. I think it is ridiculous to have so many different Apps aiming at different targets but failed at last. for example ,Alibaba has aliwangwang which is targeted to communicate between buyers and users. it is not very smooth to use but many people have to install it due to the need to communicate with sellers, you cannot imagine how bad the user experience of wangwang online version is. then Alibaba launched laiwang which are targeted to beat WeChat but fail wholefully. at the last half of 2015, Alibaba came out the idea of integrating IM function with its online payment app-alipay. it is a new idea but seems not to be a good one. so it is not so widely known in the past few months. And now Alibaba paly the good game. they wanna use bonuses to lull people into groups and stay. many people get tens and hundreds of friends in alipay easily because it can read the phone contact and find real friends easily. but I still wonder whether people will communicate as frequently as in other formal IM APPs. but it is still necessary to play against WeChat, because WeChat is now integrated with jd.com which is a strong competitor with Alibaba. JD develops fast especially in big cities and is now launching more branches to small cities and towns in order to get larger market share . JD is similar to Amazon, and Taobao is similar to ebay. maybe tecent can beat Alibaba if its social networking business works. we can see that whether Alibaba and tecent can pay the price for failure. there are crisis all around together with chances in the twentiy-first century for all enterprises. BAT is effective in China Internet area, but they all face great uncertainty in the coming ten years.
